This is a woman who can make you love your life and being alive at any moment,
using nothing but a ukulele and the English language.
I would literally recommend her work to any audience in the world.

There is no turning away from the tender, enormous, beautiful center of her poems. Be astounded.

DIRT CHOIR is the radiant collaboration of four powerful women artists. A performance poetry canoe that braves the wild terrain of racial identity, gender expression, family dynamics, Reproductive rights and mental health. This whimsical feast unites the dreamy northwest the gritty east coast and the crisp, flat south. Nationally acclaimed for their poetry, each of these women brings multi-faceted talent to this project, Stitching music, visual art and theatre to each patch of poem. A dirt choir show is like being kidnapped to be celebrated. It is pure gold. A true song. Altogether honest, strange and mighty.
